CGS Guitar Ensemble As a member of the Connecticut Guitar Society you have the opportunity to be part of a guitar ensemble and gain valuable experience learning chamber music from different styles and periods. You will also have the opportunity to meet other friendly and dedicated fellow members and fight stage fright with performance experience. What happens at the rehearsals? At the rehearsals, we do sectionals, warm-up exercises, some sight-reading, and some theory, in addition to a varied repertoire. In other words, we do a little bit of everything. Who can join the ensemble? Members of all ages and levels are welcome, for there is a part suitable for each individual. If you can read music, come join us and share your love for the guitar with others. Where and when does the ensemble meet?
