Ray Norko, avid member and state judge, volunteers at a truancy program with Child and Family Services where there is a Quirk Middle School youngster that was playing on a very old guitar. The guitar is now broken and he cannot afford another one.

Ray is wondering is there anyone who has an old guitar around that might donate to this young boy. The guitar society could provide documentation to the value as a tax deduction. It does not have to be a very high quality guitar.

Guitarist Wanted (must be able to read music) to accompany Mandolin player for playing Traditional Southern Italian music. WIll also include classical pieces.

Interested in developing a repertoire in this style of music and to eventually put together program(s) to play in various Italian oriented venues such as festivals, restaurants etc.

I am a member of L'Esperance Mandolin Ensemble in Providence but I live in Meriden,Ct. Willing to work with you if you are within 20 minutes from me going North, South and East.

I have a couple of areas to practice in and hopefully you may also have a practice site where we can work.

Greetings,

I am a steel string player and recently moved to Milford, Connecticut. I've used acrylic nails for the last 12 years and the same person has been tending to them for that time. She, however, lives in Virginia. Can anyone please recommend a good nail person in the Milford area to me?

Thanks and best wishes,
Stephen Bennett

Hi,

I'd like to call your attention the the wikipedia article entitled "The Classical Guitar Repetoire". The author of this article apparently had only a rudimentary knowledge of the classical guitar repetoire. In fact, on the discussion page he asks for anyone that's more knowledgeable to take over the article.

Though I have a moderate knowledge of this subject, it would be a great service to all classical guitarists if a true authority on this subject would take over the authoring. Please have a look at:

Thank You,
